Instructions
- Preheat a skillet to medium heat (300-325°F).
- Prepare the flax egg by mixing flaxseed meal and water, letting it set for 3-5 minutes.
- Mash the ripe banana and mix in the baking powder.
- Add the flax egg, oil, salt, vanilla, almond butter, and almond milk, then stir.
- Stir in the oats and flour until just combined, avoiding over-mixing.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop scant ¼ cup measurements onto a lightly greased griddle.
- Cook for 2-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve plain or with maple syrup and additional chocolate chips.
