Vegan Burger Buns

The vegan egg wash

unsweetened vegan milk

maple syrup or agave syrup

regular mustard

Instructions
- Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl and whisk.
- Make a well in the center and add warm water and olive oil, mixing until incorporated.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
- Grease the dough ball and let it rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough, divide it into 8 equal balls, and shape them into rounds.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet, cover, and let them proof for another 45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush the buns with the vegan egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then cool on a rack before serving.
