Juicy Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients

The marinade

  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon honey
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup olive oil

The shrimp

  • 1-1.5 lbs. jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by whisking together lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl.
  2. Drizzle olive oil into the marinade while whisking until combined.
  3. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the grill to 400ºF.
  5. Remove shrimp from the marinade and thread onto skewers.
  6. Place skewers on the grill over direct heat and grill for 1-2 minutes on each side until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  7. Remove shrimp from skewers, drizzle with remaining olive oil and lemon juice, and toss with chopped cilantro.
  8. Serve with your favorite BBQ sides.
