Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
  • cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil (canola, vegetable, etc.)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (vegan or standard, softened)
  • ¾ cup sugar (white, brown, or coconut sugar)
  • 3-4 tablespoons water
  • ½ cup peanut butter chips (vegan or standard)
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the oil, softened butter, and sugar until combined, then add water and whisk until smooth.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the peanut butter chips and chopped chocolate.
  4. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Form the dough into balls and place them on the sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the tops are set, then cool on a wire rack.
