Instructions
- 1. Clean the grill grates and preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- 2. Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels.
- 3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil and lemon juice, and in another bowl, mix garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- 4. Brush the oil and lemon mixture on each fillet and season with the garlic powder mixture.
- 5. Place the halibut on the grill, skin side down, and close the lid. Grill for 5-7 minutes until the edges are opaque.
- 6. Flip the fish and cook for another 3-4 minutes until it flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 135-140°F.
- 7. Transfer the grilled halibut to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
