Ingredients

The fish

  • 4 5-oz Halibut fillets

The seasoning mixture

  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Fresh dill (chopped)
  • 2 tsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tsp Fresh chives (chopped)
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice (from ½ a lemon)
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest (from 1 lemon)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Whisk together olive oil, dill, parsley, chives, paprika, lemon juice, lemon zest, and garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels and arrange them in a baking dish.
  4. Brush the fish on both sides with the olive oil mixture and season with sea salt and black pepper.
  5. Bake for 8-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness (125°F for medium rare, 130°F for medium, or 140°F for well done).
