Basic Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 1 unit juice of lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • to taste tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Put chickpeas in a blender and mix slightly, adding some cooking water.
  2. Add tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt to the blender.
  3. Continue mixing while gradually adding olive oil until a smooth, creamy texture is achieved.
  4. Serve with vegetables or crackers.
