Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and prepare a bundt pan with non-stick spray and flour.
- In a small bowl, mix ¼ cup of granulated sugar with 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and baking powder.
- In a stand mixer, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil, and mix on medium speed.
- Add eggs to the sugar mixture and mix for about two minutes.
- Incorporate applesauce and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- On low speed, add ⅓ of the flour mixture, then half of the apple cider, alternating until all is combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 50 minutes.
- Cool the cake in the pan for an hour before transferring to a cooling rack.
- Brush the cooled cake with melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
