Instructions
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
- Stir in the beaten egg and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and fold in ¼ cup of chocolate chips.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and refrigerate the dough for a few minutes.
- Shape the dough into a mound on a lined baking sheet and dot with the remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes until the edges are set.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes before enjoying.
