Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Instructions
- 1. Heat a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
- 2. Add 2 ½ cups of chopped apples and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- 3. Stir in maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
- 4. Pour in ½ cup apple juice and 2 ¾ cups water, and bring to a low boil.
- 5. Once boiling, add 2 cups rolled oats and reduce heat to medium.
- 6. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most liquid is absorbed.
- 7. Serve oatmeal in bowls topped with reserved chopped apples, a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, milk, and a dusting of cinnamon or brown sugar.
