Cheesy Baked Turkey Meatballs in Marinara

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, red onion, garlic, spinach, parmesan cheese, eggs, oregano, basil, parsley, salt, fennel seeds, and black pepper, and mix well.
- Form the mixture into twelve 2-inch meatballs.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Sear the meatballs in the skillet for 3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Cover the meatballs with marinara sauce in the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
