marinara sauce (24 oz)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F and prepare a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, combine bread crumbs with 3 Tbsp of milk and let it rest.
- Add parmesan, onion, garlic, parsley, basil, and oregano to the bread crumb mixture.
- Incorporate ground turkey, salt, pepper, and egg yolk into the mixture and blend well.
- Divide the mixture into 16 equal portions and roll them into balls.
- Place the meatballs on the baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then turn the meatballs and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan.
- Toss the cooked meatballs with the marinara sauce and serve with additional herbs and parmesan if desired.
