Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup chopped red onion
  • ½ cup light Hellman’s mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 whole jalapeños
  • 2 cups chopped fresh cilantro leaves and stems
  • 3 medium cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Sauté the onion in a small skillet with 1 teaspoon of oil until soft.
  2. Transfer the sautéed onion to a blender and add the remaining oil, mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chopped jalapeños, cilantro, and garlic to the blender.
  4. Blend on high speed until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
