Easy Homemade Strawberry Milk

The strawberry syrup

milk (preferably whole milk)

red food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Chill 2 cups of whole milk in the freezer until very cold.
- In a small pot, combine strawberries, sugar, and water, then bring to a low boil and cook for 10 minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl, discarding the solids.
- Mix about 3 tablespoons of the syrup into the cold milk, adjusting to taste.
- Add food coloring if desired, stir, and serve.
