Instructions
- Heat a medium frying pan on medium heat.
- Melt the butter and add the minced shallot, cooking until softened.
- Add the white wine to deglaze the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Whisk in the cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice, and chicken broth or water until combined.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring often until slightly thickened.
