Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • for garnish parsley
  • a pinch red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the grated garlic and salt, cooking for 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice.
  4. Season with freshly ground black pepper and sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Serve with steamed artichokes for dipping or toss with pasta.
