Ingredients

The ramen

  • 16 oz Shirataki noodles
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 lb Sirloin steak
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger
  • 1 cup Shiitake mushrooms
  • 4 tbsp Coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 4 cups Beef broth
  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper

Optional toppings

  • 4 large Soft boiled eggs
  • ¼ cup Green onions
  • 1 whole Lime

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then set aside.
  2. Rinse the shirataki noodles well under cool running water.
  3. Boil the noodles for 3 minutes, then rinse again and pat dry.
  4. In a dutch oven, heat olive oil and sear the steak for 1-2 minutes on each side, then remove and keep warm.
  5. In the same pot, add more olive oil and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  6. Add mushrooms, coconut aminos, fish sauce, and broth, then simmer for about 10 minutes.
  7. Divide the noodles into bowls, add broth and steak, and top with optional toppings.
