Paleo Turtle Bars

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 brownie pan with parchment paper.
- Mix almond flour, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt in a small bowl until combined.
- Form the mixture into the bottom of the pan and bake for 15-17 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool.
- In a medium saucepan, combine coconut cream, coconut sugar, coconut oil, and salt, and heat on medium, stirring consistently.
- Once the mixture boils, reduce heat to medium-low and stir for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
- Turn off the heat and add vanilla to the caramel mixture.
- Pour the caramel over the cooled crust and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
- Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second increments, then pour over the pecans and spread evenly.
- Chill in the freezer for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.
