Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
- Core the apples and thinly slice them using a mandolin.
- Arrange the apple slices on the baking sheets without overlapping.
- In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar together.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the apple slices.
- Place the baking sheets in the oven, one on the top rack and one below it, and bake for 2½ hours, switching the positions halfway through.
- Turn off the oven and leave the apple chips inside for another hour to finish dehydrating.
- Remove the apple chips from the oven and let them cool completely before eating.
