Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (121 degrees C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Remove the apple stems and slice the apples as thinly as possible, about 1/8 inch thick.
- Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on the baking sheets.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sweetener (if using) and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the apples on both sides.
- Bake the apple chips for 2 hours, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and starting to crisp up.
- Remove the chips from the oven and allow them to cool completely to crisp up.
