Air Fryer Apple Chips

Instructions
- Remove the core from the top and bottom of each apple.
- Slice the apples into ⅛-inch thick slices using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Brush the apple slices with the glaze mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, cooking in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 8 minutes, then flip each slice and cook for another 4 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to 325°F and cook for another 8 to 10 minutes until crispy.
- Allow the apple chips to cool before serving.
