Marbled Tahini Chocolate Cups

Ingredients

The chocolates

  • 12 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips

The filling

  • ½ cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons brown rice syrup or honey
  • to taste pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Line a muffin tin with 9 to 12 muffin liners.
  2. Melt dark chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for an additional 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute, stir, and if needed, microwave for another 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. In a small bowl, mix tahini, brown rice syrup or honey, and a pinch of salt without fully blending.
  5. Add a scant tablespoon of dark chocolate to half the liners and white chocolate to the remaining liners, then tap the muffin tin to even out the chocolate.
  6. Create swirls by adding drops of white chocolate to dark chocolate cups and vice versa, then run a knife through them.
  7. Freeze for 5 minutes, then add a teaspoon of the tahini mixture to each cup and freeze again for another 5 minutes.
  8. For marbled tops, work in batches to add white chocolate and dark chocolate drops, swirl, and freeze for 10 minutes.
  9. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve.
