Paleo Taco Pie

Ingredients

The filling

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup finely chopped sundried tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Herbamare
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped basil
  • cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp arrowroot flour
  • 3 whisked eggs

The crust

  • 2 medium white potatoes or sweet potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over low to medium heat until the beef is browned, then drain the fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with the remaining filling ingredients.
  4. Grease a pie dish and line it with sliced potatoes, overlapping them slightly and seasoning with Herbamare.
  5. Pour the meat mixture over the potatoes and spread it evenly.
  6. Cover the dish and bake for about 30 minutes.
