Ingredients

The boil

  • 4 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • 8 oz baby potatoes, cut into halves
  • 2 ears corn on the cob, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 12 oz smoked sausage, cut into pieces
  • 1 lb shrimp, shelled, deveined, tail-in
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, for garnishing

Cajun Butter

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Fill a large stockpot halfway with water and bring it to a rolling boil.
  2. Add Old Bay seasoning, then the potatoes and corn. Cover and boil for 8 to 10 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  3. Prepare the Cajun butter by mixing melted butter with Cajun seasoning and set aside.
  4. Add shrimp and smoked sausage to the pot and boil for one minute until shrimp turns orange-pink.
  5. Drain the ingredients using a colander.
  6. Heat a skillet and combine the Cajun butter with the boiled ingredients.
  7. Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
