Ingredients

The batter

  • cups blanched almond flour
  • ¼ teaspoon celtic sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup grapeseed oil or palm shortening
  • ¼ cup agave nectar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

The mix-ins

  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup dates, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine almond flour, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix eggs, oil, honey, and vanilla.
  3. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
  4. Fold in the chopped walnuts and dates.
  5. Scoop the batter into a greased 8 x 8 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 22-30 minutes.
  7. Cool and serve.
