The water

  • 6 cups water

Instructions

  1. Sort through the dry beans to remove any stones or debris, then rinse them in a colander.
  2. Place the cleaned beans in a slow cooker and add 6 cups of water for every pound of beans. Set the cooker to HIGH and cook for 4-6 hours.
  3. Once the beans are tender, drain and rinse them. Divide into containers, label, and freeze until ready to use.
