Easy Flatbread Pizza

Ingredients

The base

  • 4 pieces flatbreads

The sauce and toppings

  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 pieces Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, packed in water, drained
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • to taste fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the broiler on LOW and adjust the oven rack to the upper middle position.
  2. 2. Arrange the flatbreads on two rimmed baking sheets in a single layer.
  3. 3. Top each flatbread with 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce and ½ cup of mozzarella cheese.
  4. 4. Evenly distribute the tomato slices and artichoke hearts on the flatbreads.
  5. 5. Add several teaspoon-sized dollops of cream cheese on each pizza.
  6. 6. Broil in the oven for about 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese has melted and the toppings are heated through.
  7. 7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
