Instructions
- 1. Whisk the yeast, sugar, and warm water together and let it sit until foamy.
- 2. Mix in the flour, olive oil, and salt until combined.
- 3. Knead the dough for 6-8 minutes until soft and slightly sticky.
- 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 45 minutes.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 475°F (246°C).
- 6. Punch down the dough, divide it in half, and shape each piece into a flatbread about ¼ inch thick.
- 7. Brush each flatbread with olive oil and add your favorite toppings.
- 8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is browned.
