Ingredients

  • 4 cups bread flour or all-purpose flour
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1.75 to 2 cups lukewarm water

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the flour, salt, and instant yeast in a large bowl.
  2. Add the lukewarm water and mix until a sticky dough ball forms.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm spot for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and divide it into 4 equal portions.
  5. Shape each portion into a ball and let them rest for at least 30 minutes if baking immediately.
  6. If refrigerating, transfer the dough balls to containers and store in the fridge.
  7. When ready to bake, let the dough sit at room temperature for 60 to 90 minutes.
  8. Shape the dough into a 10 to 12-inch round and place it on a parchment-lined peel.
  9. Top the pizza as desired and bake at 550°F for 5 to 6 minutes.
