Instructions
- Whisk together the dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
- Beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy, then add the molasses, egg, and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then cover and chill the dough for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven and prepare baking sheets.
- Roll the chilled dough into balls and stamp each one with a cookie stamp.
- Bake the cookies until the edges are set, then cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
