Instructions
- Rinse and pat the chicken dry, then place it in the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the chicken on high for 3 hours or low for 5 hours.
- In a large saucepan, melt the ghee over medium heat and add the minced onion, cooking until softened.
- Add the garlic, apple cider vinegar, tomato sauce, tomato paste, honey, salt, black pepper, and Tabasco to the saucepan, stirring well.
- Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce to a simmer until it thickens slightly.
- Once the chicken has cooled, shred the meat and mix it with the sauce.
