Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix the flour, oats, brown sugar, nuts (if using), and salt for the crumble topping. Add the cubed butter and drizzle in the maple syrup, mixing until crumbly.
- Peel, core, and slice the apples, then place them in a large bowl with lemon juice, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. Toss until well coated.
- Butter a 9 x 13 pan and pour the apple mixture into it. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.
- Bake uncovered for 35-45 minutes until bubbling and the topping is golden brown.
