Ingredients

The chicken and broth

  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 2-4 medium boneless skinless chicken breasts

The seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ΒΌ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Mix the seasonings in a small bowl.
  2. 2. Pour the chicken stock into the Instant Pot and place the trivet inside.
  3. 3. Season the chicken breasts on both sides and place them on the trivet.
  4. 4. Cook on manual high pressure for 10 minutes, then allow a natural release for 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Drain the pot, saving the liquid, and remove the trivet.
  6. 6. Shred the chicken using forks or a hand mixer, then mix in 2-4 tablespoons of the reserved broth for added moisture.
