Instructions
- Prepare the whole wheat pizza dough and let it rise according to the recipe instructions.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the garlic and mixed vegetables on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Roast for about 15 minutes.
- Increase the oven temperature to 475°F (246°C) and prepare the baking sheet or pizza pan with olive oil and cornmeal.
- Shape the dough into a 12-inch circle and create a rim around the edges.
- Brush the dough lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with chopped roasted garlic.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then add the mozzarella cheese and roasted vegetables on top.
- Bake for 15-16 minutes until the crust is brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with optional toppings if desired. Slice and serve immediately.
