Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 cup water (warmed)
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cups whole-wheat flour

The toppings

  • to taste tomato sauce
  • to taste mozzarella cheese (grated)
  • to taste sausage
  • to taste mushrooms
  • to taste mixed veggies
  • to taste parmesan cheese
  • to taste pesto
  • to taste goat cheese
  • to taste arugula
  • to taste olives

Instructions

  1. Combine yeast with warm water and let it foam.
  2. Mix in salt and olive oil into the yeast mixture.
  3. Combine flour and yeast mixture in a food processor or mixer until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough into a smooth ball and let it rise in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 500°F.
  6. Roll out the dough into desired shape and place on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Top with tomato sauce, cheese, and other toppings.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until crust and cheese are golden brown.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
