Easy Sautéed Zucchini with Parmesan

zucchini or yellow summer squash (about 2 pounds), ends trimmed and cut into ½-inch-thick rounds

Instructions
- Heat olive oil, onion, and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat until onions begin to brown.
- Add zucchini, salt, pepper, thyme, and remaining butter, then increase heat to medium.
- Cook while stirring occasionally until zucchini is just cooked through and beginning to brown.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and enjoy immediately.
