Slow Cooker Crockpot Boneless Turkey Breast

Ingredients

The turkey

  • 3 pounds boneless turkey breast

The spices

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

The broth and vegetables

  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup broth (chicken)

The fat

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Pat the turkey breast dry and rub the spices all over it.
  2. Pour the broth into the slow cooker and add the sliced onions.
  3. Place the seasoned turkey breast on top of the onions and broth, then add the butter on top.
  4. Cook on Low for 3-4 hours until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F.
  5. Remove the turkey from the slow cooker carefully as it may fall apart.
  6. For crispy skin, broil in the oven for 3-5 minutes or use an air fryer for 3-4 minutes at 400°F.
  7. Allow the turkey to rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
