Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

The seasoning

Instructions
- Place the turkey breast in the slow cooker and dry it with paper towels.
- Rub the softened butter over the turkey and press the sage leaves into the top.
- Season with salt and pepper, then add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours, checking for doneness after 4 hours.
- If desired, for browned skin, broil the turkey for 7 to 10 minutes after cooking.
- Let the turkey rest for 15 minutes, then slice and serve.
