Ingredients

The crab legs

  • 1 pound king crab legs

The garlic butter sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-2 teaspoons Creole seasoning
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice

Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives or parsley
  • to taste lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Thaw the crab legs in the refrigerator overnight or under cold running water for a few minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375℉ (190℃).
  3. Cut the crab leg shells in half lengthwise using kitchen shears.
  4. Place the crab legs in an oven-safe pan or on a baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and Creole seasoning, then microwave for about a minute.
  6. Add lemon juice to the butter mixture and stir well.
  7. Brush the butter mixture all over the crab legs, reserving some for serving.
  8. Bake the crab legs for about 5 minutes or until heated through.
  9. Sprinkle with parsley or chives and serve immediately with the remaining sauce and lemon wedges.
