Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- 2. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then set aside.
- 3. In another large bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until fluffy, then gradually add the sugar and mix well.
- 4. Add the cocoa and egg whites to the mixture and beat until well combined.
- 5. Gradually add the flour mixture, beating until combined.
- 6. Stir in the mini chocolate chips by hand.
- 7. Coat baking sheets with cooking spray and drop 40 rounded teaspoons of dough onto the sheets, spaced 1-1.5 inches apart.
- 8. Bake for 8-9 minutes, then cool on the pans for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
