Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • tsp table salt
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup sugar
  • cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 large egg whites
  • cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then set aside.
  3. 3. In another large bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until fluffy, then gradually add the sugar and mix well.
  4. 4. Add the cocoa and egg whites to the mixture and beat until well combined.
  5. 5. Gradually add the flour mixture, beating until combined.
  6. 6. Stir in the mini chocolate chips by hand.
  7. 7. Coat baking sheets with cooking spray and drop 40 rounded teaspoons of dough onto the sheets, spaced 1-1.5 inches apart.
  8. 8. Bake for 8-9 minutes, then cool on the pans for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
