Instructions
- Trim the stem ends of the green beans and remove any tough strings.
- Bring a large pot of water with salt to a boil and prepare a bowl of ice water.
- Add the green beans to the boiling water and cook until tender-crisp, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Transfer the beans to the ice water to stop the cooking process.
- Once cooled, drain the beans and pat dry.
