  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it foams and turns golden brown.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Mix the brown butter with the sugars, then add eggs and vanilla, beating until light and thick.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, then fold in the chopped toffee and chocolate wafers.
  5. Let the dough rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them apart, and sprinkle with sea salt.
  8. Bake until the edges are golden and centers are soft, then cool on a wire rack.
