Instructions
- Whisk together the lemon juice, maple syrup, soy sauce, and thyme in a small bowl and set aside.
- Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the Brussels sprouts and red onion to the skillet and cook until they begin to brown, about four minutes.
- Add the butter or additional oil to the pan and cook for another four minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for one more minute.
- Add the lemon juice mixture and cook for an additional 2 to 4 minutes before serving warm.
