Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 9x13-inch metal pan with parchment paper and cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs, bananas, sour cream, milk, and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- Incorporate the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until just combined, reserving ½ cup for the cream cheese layer.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese with the reserved cake batter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Prepare the streusel by combining the pecans, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon, then mix in melted butter until clumps form.
- Spread half of the cake batter in the prepared pan, dollop the cream cheese mixture on top, and spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining cake batter and optionally swirl the layers together.
- Sprinkle the streusel and chocolate chips over the top.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before serving.
