Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • cups slivered almonds
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • a pinch sea salt
  • as needed nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. 1. Spray an 8x8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. 2. In a food processor, combine the dried cherries, slivered almonds, and salt, and pulse on high for 30-45 seconds.
  3. 3. Add the water and pulse again until well combined with no large pieces.
  4. 4. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. 5. Cover the dish and refrigerate for 6-12 hours.
  6. 6. Once chilled, slice the mixture into bars and serve.
