Light Jalapeño Popper Dip

Ingredients

Dip

  • 1 block light cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup jarred jalapeños, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Topping

  • 1 4oz box crackers or panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices cooked and diced turkey bacon
  • to taste jalapeño slices from jar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese and yogurt.
  3. Add in the diced jalapeños, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  4. Spread the dip mixture into the bottom of an 8×8 baking dish or an 8-inch cake pan.
  5. In a food processor, blend the crackers, melted butter, and parmesan cheese until fine crumbs.
  6. Cook and chop the turkey bacon.
  7. Spread the crumb mixture evenly on top of the dip, then add the crumbled bacon and jalapeño slices.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  9. Serve with crackers, chips, or veggies.
