Ingredients

The dip

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ¾ cup plain full-fat yogurt
  • 6 strips thin bacon
  • 2-3 medium jalapeños
  • 4 stalks green onions
  • cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For topping

  • to taste sliced jalapeño
  • to taste reserved cheese
  • to taste reserved bacon
  • to taste sliced green onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray a 1.5-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese and yogurt until well combined.
  4. Add the reserved bacon, diced jalapeños, reserved green onions, cheddar cheese, gruyere cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture and stir well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Top with reserved bacon, sliced jalapeño, and reserved cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes until bubbly.
  8. Remove the foil and broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
  9. Garnish with green onion and serve hot with dippers.
