Ingredients

The dip

  • 2 packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed or finely minced
  • 1 can fire roasted green chilies (4-oz)
  • ½-1 can diced jalapeno peppers (4-oz), drained
  • 8 oz bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)

Serving options

  • 1-2 sourdough baguettes sliced
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1 package crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. If using bacon, reserve 2-3 tablespoons to sprinkle on top before baking.
  3. Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and garlic in a bowl and stir until smooth.
  4. Add the jalapenos and green chilies to the mixture.
  5. If using bacon, stir in the remaining bacon.
  6. Spread the dip into a 9-inch pie plate or a small baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle with reserved bacon if using.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown.
