Instructions
- Drain and rinse the black beans thoroughly.
- In a large bowl, combine the beans with lime juice, cilantro, diced shallots, and ground cumin.
- Season the mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Peel and slice the avocado, then serve it on top of the salad or mix it throughout.
- Serve the salad at room temperature.
