Instructions
- Toast the cumin seeds in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until fragrant, then let cool.
- In a food processor or high-powered blender, combine the toasted cumin seeds with cilantro, parsley, jalapeños, garlic, green onions, green olives (if using), olive oil, lemon juice, and salt.
- Blend until smooth.
- Store the harissa in a sealed glass jar or container.
